Hydra Fingerprints: publish what you run.

Hydra Fingerprints is the Publish tool. It turns one setfile version into a public page that shows exactly which configuration it is, by its two prints and the settings you choose to disclose.

The problem it solves

Setfiles are shared on forums and signal pages under names that say little. Two files that look alike can behave differently, and two with different names can be identical. A fingerprint settles it: if two setfiles share both prints, they are the same configuration, whatever they are called.

Every saved version carries a Strategy Print (SP-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx), covering what the strategy does, and a Tuning Print (TP-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx), covering how hard it works. The EA calculates the same prints from the settings it runs with.

What you see and do

• Choose a version. From the fingerprint icon in the Setfile Builder, check the prints and set the publisher name shown on the page.
• Choose what to disclose. Strategy Only keeps your tuning private; Strategy Plus Tuning shows everything covered by either print. Settings outside both prints, such as keys, broker details and colours, can never appear.
• Request a listing. We approve each listing before it is public. From the moment you ask, the version is locked and cannot be edited or deleted, so its "last modified" date means something.
• Share the link. The page shows the prints, the EA version, the dates, whether the setfile is attached to a verified live account, and the disclosed settings. Withdrawing it deletes the page and unlocks the version.

A fingerprint proves two configurations are identical. It does not prove who ran one, or that any result attached to it is real.
